GISBOX is a Romanian geospatial company with expertise in data analysis, GIS integration and remote sensing. We process satellite imagery, classify land cover, detect change and integrate spatial datasets, drawing on experience in European land-monitoring and forest projects. In this collaboration, we could map agricultural landscape features and their changes over time, then analyse their relationship with the bird or insect observations collected from the field. We have expertise with optical, multispectral, radar data.

We are looking for a partner specialised in bird observation, or in pollinator and other insect monitoring, to jointly develop a biodiversity project in agricultural landscapes across selected European countries. We aim to investigate how land-use change, crop diversity and semi-natural habitats relate to the diversity and abundance of these species, and whether changing landscapes are giving rise to new ecological communities. We welcome partners who can help interpret the ecological findings and provide valuable support for bird observation, or pollinator observations.
