I study plants growing on metal rich soils such as serpentine and post-mining soils. I have a specific interest in metal hyperaccumulating plants. I am also interested in the role of root symbioses in the adaptation of plants ot metalliferous soils. I have worked in mining territories in New Caledonia, Cuba and southern France.
