Animal Biotechnology

I am interested in joining collaborative research and innovation projects addressing sustainable agricultural transformation, biotechnology, genomics, climate resilience, and the application of emerging technologies to food and livestock systems. I am particularly interested in projects that connect scientific research with policy, research funding, capacity development, knowledge valorisation, and measurable societal and economic impact. I can contribute expertise in animal genetics and breeding, genomics and biotechnology, research management, grant programme development, STI policy and governance, research evaluation, and international research cooperation. I also have experience in coordinating multidisciplinary research activities and linking researchers, higher education institutions, government institutions, and international partners. I am particularly interested in contributing to projects under Horizon Europe and other international research and innovation programmes where Ethiopia and African research institutions can play an active role. I am seeking partners interested in collaborative proposal development, joint research, capacity building, knowledge exchange, and strengthening Africa–Europe research and innovation partnerships.
