A) The design of Novel Ecosystems requires new collective approaches in which the voices of non-human entities are heard. Our lab has developed expertise in Life-Centred Design, which responds particularly well to Themes B and C of the call and brings state-of-the-art approaches from the humanities and social sciences to your projects. Our co-design method ensures that the needs and pressures experienced by both human and ecological systems, as well as the interrelations between them, are documented and taken into account.
B) The success of new trajectories for Novel Ecosystems depends on their appropriation by stakeholders. A shared, sustainable, and desirable narrative is essential to motivating their participation. Our lab has developed a method for creating this kind of future-oriented narrative, using situated visions and utopias as a means of engagement. This method will be particularly useful for Themes B and C of the call.

We propose to address the social acceptability of trajectories and transformations related to Novel Ecosystems.
We can bring field-tested methodologies to support Life-Centred Design and the integration of the needs of nature in hybrid contexts. We can provide the project with robust tools and methods specifically developed to foster peaceful interdependence between humans and non-human entities. Our approaches have been published in renowned academic journals and are currently used by public and research institutions.
We have extensive experience in European projects and are well positioned to lead pan-European work packages within our area of expertise.
