Research vision: I study nutrition as a lifestyle determinant of disease risk and provide actionable solutions to manage the risk through my research. Domain expertise: Towards this goal, I evaluate nutritional exposures holistically, evaluating them as a priori and a posteriori dietary patterns and their associations with health. This approach allows for evaluating the synergistic and moderating effects of foods consumed together, mimicking what happens in real life. Aligned with the emerging emphasis on the One Health framework for human and planetary health, I further evaluate dietary patterns through an ecological lens, investigating food biodiversity and its influence on population health independent of traditional nutritional paradigms ( such as chemical toxin exposures etc).
Translational Skills: I have worked in European and Asian cohorts and bring an understanding of several different food cultures, food systems, and have established a strong collaborative network internationally.

I believe that studying One Health requires a multidisciplinary approach . I belive my expertise in public health and nutrition will add value to projects aiming to study biodivesrity-human and environment interplays
