Our field of expertise combines entomology and biotremology: we study insect behaviour and try to understand processes that are happening in the natural environment. We develop a novel approach of vibroscape and ecotremolgy to understand ecological processes in the environment based on arthropod vibrational communication which are living in ecosystems.
The ecotremology concept can be exploited as a non-invasive method to measure insect abundance/diversity, but also to observe interactions among community members living in natural conditions.

I'm looking to join a proposal that wants to include a novel, non-invasive monitoring approach of insect/arthopod communities in the study area (novel ecosystem).
I would be very interested if anyone would like to test how novel ecosystems serve as a medium for communication channels i.e. how animals (insect/arthropods) exploit novel ecosystems regarding their communication strategies.
