Biodiversity and sustainable development specialist with around 20 years of international experience in biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture and land use, ecosystem services, environmental economics and environmental policy. Experience includes work with international organisations, governments and development cooperation programmes, including IUCN and GIZ-supported initiatives. My work combines biodiversity and socio-economic analysis with stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, programme design and the translation of technical evidence into practical recommendations. I am particularly interested in biodiversity change in agricultural and human-modified landscapes, socio-ecological systems and the implications of environmental change for people, policy and land management.

I am looking to join an interdisciplinary BiodivFuture consortium where my experience can complement ecological and natural-science research. I can contribute particularly to the socio-economic and policy dimensions of projects, stakeholder engagement, participatory processes, analysis of sustainable agriculture and land-use systems, ecosystem services, environmental economics, biodiversity policy, knowledge synthesis and communication of results for decision-makers. I am especially interested in projects examining biodiversity change, novel ecosystems and socio-ecological dynamics in agricultural and other human-modified landscapes, including the consequences of environmental change for biodiversity, ecosystems, livelihoods and society. My interests also include conservation planning, nature-positive approaches, biodiversity mainstreaming, science-policy interfaces, governance, territorial planning, multi-stakeholder processes and the development of practical management and policy responses based on scientific evidence.
