I am looking for a project to join. My research combines remote sensing and soil science to monitor forest and agricultural ecosystems under change. My work spans tropical forest disturbance monitoring, using Sentinel-1/2 and GEDI to detect pre-loss degradation signals in the Amazon, research on urban forest ecosystems, where I study how soil hydrophysical properties relate to canopy drought stress, and agricultural land-use and cropland change monitoring using multi-sensor Earth observation data. I would bring expertise in integrating multi-sensor Earth observation with field-based soil and vegetation data to track ecosystem functioning and biodiversity outcomes across these contrasting but complementary settings.

I am actively involved in networking through the PANGEOS COST Action (CA22136), where I serve as Vice Chair of the Science Communication team and organise webinars. These networks connect me with a wide, transnational community working on Earth observation, forest monitoring, and related environmental research. My next conference will be the EGU General Assembly 2027 in Vienna.
