I am looking for a project to join
I am a project manager and knowledge broker at Oxygen Valley, CEMTEC Fonden, Denmark, with more than 20 years of experience in interdisciplinary research, teaching, stakeholder collaboration and EU project development.

My work focuses on translating environmental knowledge into locally relevant action through cross-sector partnerships involving researchers, public authorities, businesses, civil-society organisations and communities. At Oxygen Valley, I support the development of Mariager Fjord as a place-based living lab for biodiversity restoration, improved water quality and sustainable fjord management.

My current work includes stakeholder mapping and engagement; development of the Mariagerfjord Knowledge Centre concept; EU research and innovation proposal development; policy and governance analysis; and co-design of restoration and pollution-management pathways for nutrient-impacted coastal systems.

Main skills: knowledge brokerage; stakeholder engagement and co-creation; socio-ecological governance; science–policy interface; EU proposal development; coastal and fjord restoration

We offer Mariager Fjord as a real-world Danish living lab and demonstrator site, with access to local stakeholders and governance processes, capacity for co-creation and citizen science, and experience translating research into practical restoration, management and policy action.

Oxygen Valley, hosted by CEMTEC Fonden in Denmark, is a non-profit knowledge-brokering organisation that brings together researchers, public authorities, businesses and local communities to support fjord restoration.

Mariager Fjord is a stratified, eutrophied coastal fjord shaped by recurrent hypoxia and anoxia, internal nutrient loading, loss of eelgrass and benthic habitats, and long-term ecosystem change. It provides a relevant case for research on novel coastal ecosystems, biodiversity recovery pathways and socio-ecological restoration

Oxygen Valley is open to online meetings with prospective consortium partners during the BiodivFuture consortium-building period.

We will participate in the Biodiversa+ BiodivFuture Information Webinar on 10 September 2026.

We are also available to arrange bilateral online meetings and to connect interested partners with relevant municipal, civil-society and nature organisations in the Mariager Fjord area.
