I am an experienced researcher at Laurea University of Applied Sciences with expertise in resilience, sustainability transitions, agri-environmental and regional policy, and stakeholder engagement. My research has focused particularly on the resilience of farming and food systems, policy responses to environmental and socio-economic pressures, and interactions between policy, institutions and actors. I have worked in Horizon 2020 projects SURE-Farm and LIFT, as well as Interreg and regional innovation projects, using qualitative and mixed methods including policy and document analysis, interviews, focus groups, stakeholder mapping and participatory workshops. I am especially interested in projects linking biodiversity and ecosystem resilience with governance, policy, behavioural and socio-economic dimensions, including just and feasible pathways for transformation. I am interested in joining this project because it closely matches my research on resilience, environmental and agricultural policy, sustainability transitions, and stakeholder engagement. My previous work in the Horizon 2020 SURE-Farm and LIFT projects examined how policies, institutions and actor responses influence the resilience and sustainability of farming systems, including ecological approaches and responses to systemic pressures.
I could contribute particularly to the project’s governance, policy, socio-economic and stakeholder dimensions, complementing ecological and natural-science expertise. My methodological experience includes policy and document analysis, interviews, focus groups, stakeholder mapping, participatory workshops and mixed-method research.
I am especially interested in understanding how biodiversity and ecosystem resilience can be strengthened through realistic, socially acceptable and institutionally feasible transformation pathways, and how research findings can be translated into policy and practice through co-creation with relevant stakeholders.
