Governance and institutions for nature recovery, restoration or futures. How we (governments) build, bricolage and repurpose new and existing institutions for the mission of national nature restoration or securitisation. My research looks at the state as an institution-of-institutions from a systemic perspective and asks what kinds of institutions do we need for nature-futures and how we build national programmes (political, policy and administrative) for these futures? My research is based in public policy, public administration, governance and institutional theories and literatures.
