I am looking for a project to join
I am a Senior Application Specialist with expertise in next-generation sequencing (NGS), microbial ecology, environmental microbiology, and bioinformatics data analysis. My work focuses on the application of high-throughput sequencing technologies for studying complex microbial communities, antimicrobial resistance, environmental microbiomes, and host–microbiome interactions.
I have extensive experience in the design, execution, and interpretation of genomic, metagenomic, metatranscriptomic, and amplicon-based studies using different sequencing platforms. My expertise covers the complete analytical workflow, including experimental design, library preparation , sequencing (Illumina), quality control, taxonomic and functional profiling, comparative microbiome analyses, antimicrobial resistance gene detection, and advanced bioinformatics pipelines.
I am actively involved in international research projects focused on environmental microbiology, soil remediation, plant–microbe interactions, and the microbiomes of pollinators.
Ongoing projects: microbiome and resistome dynamics in hydrocarbon-contaminated soils; seasonal dynamics of the honey bee gut microbiome; interactions among microbiomes, mycobiomes, and viromes in contaminated environments.

I am interested in joining the indicated project because it aligns closely with my scientific and professional expertise in next-generation sequencing, microbiome research, environmental microbiology, and bioinformatics. I am particularly interested in projects that investigate biodiversity, microbial community dynamics, environmental stressors, antimicrobial resistance, and the role of microorganisms in ecosystem functioning and restoration.
I believe that modern sequencing-based approaches can provide valuable insight into how microbial communities respond to environmental change, pollution, land use, climate-related pressures, and host-associated factors. My experience in metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, amplicon sequencing, taxonomic and functional profiling, and resistome analysis could contribute to both experimental planning and downstream data interpretation.
I am also motivated by the interdisciplinary and international character of Biodiversa projects. I would like to contribute to a consortium where molecular biology, ecology, environmental sciences, and bioinformatics are integrated to address relevant environmental challenges.
I am especially interested in collaborative projects focused on environmental microbiomes, soil and rhizosphere biodiversity, plant–microbe interactions, microbiome-based indicators of ecosystem health, remediation of contaminated environments, and the links between biodiversity loss, environmental change, and antimicrobial resistance.
