Since 2017, I have been heading the Department of Biodiversity Protection (now Research Team) at InLife IAR&FR PAS with the headquater in Popielno and cooperate with Hunting Associations concerning wild animals` management and its impact in the habitat. I have led two projects financed by National Science Centre in Poland (NCN) on roe and red deer reproductive biology, condition and immunology (2017/25/B/NZ9/02544, 2021/43/I/NZ9/01077), one implementation project on development of nutritional supplement for wild ruminants (MNISW/2020/318/DIR). I realized eight internal projects (statutory basic funds) related to biodiversity conservation. Projects (PI) concerning: - peroxysome proliferator activated receptors regulation during the estrous cycle and experimentally induced inflammatory processess of uterus in cows, NCN OPUS 2013/11/B/NZ4/04516, - adenomyosis in cattle, NCN OPUS 2011/01/B/NZ5/00939, - leukotrienes` role of in reproduction, NCN N N311 013837. Expertises: permanent expert in the Ministry of Environment and Climate (Poland: Punkt dla Przyrody) assessing environmental projects and in NCBR. I`m looking for a project to join but also for a Partner (dependently on area of study). I`m interested in determining the impact of wild fauna (e.g. european roe deer and red deer) on habitat stability, using them as biomarkers useful for game species management. On the other hand, it could also be interesting how these species migrate to new habitats - antroporesion and in the area were some millitary action occurs.
I`m diagnostician than hormone and biochemical factors` concentration are basic for the results. Moreover comprehensive studies, including observation and relations in habitats should be taken in the project.
