I work on Marine Animal Forests (MAFs) biology/ecology, focusing on connectivity, reef restoration, ecosystem restoration/climate change impacts, ecosystem engineering, population genetics of marine invertebrates, natural based solutions (e.g., ecological engineering, carbon storage, developing of biodiversity and carbon credits for MAFs), propagation (in situ/ex situ) of corals, DNA barcoding and aspects of MAF-socio/ecological applications.
