The Institute of Solar Research of German Aerospace Center has vast experience in meteorology (measurements, modelling and forecasting) and in sustainable integration of solar energy systems, in particular, photovoltaics, into agriculture, also known as agrivoltaics. With several agrivoltaic facilities in southern Spain, we are evaluating how climate change and future climatic scenarios may affect agriculture, and how this kind of systems can contribute to the mitigation or adaptation of crops to the challenges posed by climate change.

We are open to join any project that aims to evaluate how fauna and biodiversity can be enhanced through the combination of agriculture and green energy generation through photovoltaics.
