I am looking for a project to join
Our research centre has 3 senior researchers, and 2 phd students and 2 post docs. We are experts in biodiversity finance, a field that uses financial theory to understand, price, and manage nature-related risks and opportunities. We work at the interface of finance, ecology, and policy to develop tools and frameworks that integrate biodiversity into financial decision-making and regulation.

Our strengths lie in ESG integration, systemic risk modelling, spatial finance, and sustainability transitions. We develop methodologies to assess biodiversity impacts and dependencies using geospatial data, financial analytics, and scenario modelling. We have extensive experience with the EU Taxonomy, SFDR, TNFD, and other regulatory frameworks.

We are WP leaders in project BioSolar, from the BiodivNBS call. Here, we are responsible for developing biodiversity finance models, and help bridge the disciplinary siloes between natural and social science.

We are also active in behavioural finance and interdisciplinary research on just transitions. Our team combines academic rigour with policy and practitioner engagement. We are looking to join a consortium where our expertise in biodiversity-linked financial tools, systemic risk, and nature-positive investments can create added value.
