My primary interest lies in spatial change and planning from a macro to a micro scale, including national urban policy, land use planning as well as local urban design, using qualitative as well as quantitative approaches. I enjoy various forms of collaboration and interdisciplinary working, giving me a great inspiration and motivation.

Spatial planning and urban development

I would be interested to work with the net zero land take goal of the EU. The net zero land take goal allows new development if we at the same time give developed land back to nature (e.g. by depaving strategies) . I would be interest in how municipalities (e.g. planning authorities) can work with that and its relation to the biodiversity problem.
