BUILDERS is an engineering school specializing in construction, managed by a non-profit association under the law of July 1, 1901. It offers training in decarbonized public works and sustainable and smart buildings, allowing students to specialize in civil or maritime structures, roads and networks, or various types of buildings.

The school includes a research lab focused on low-impact construction materials, excelling in low-carbon construction with bio-based materials and the circular economy. It also works on the thermal and energy performance of buildings and materials combating urban heat islands.

The hydraulic lab studies coastal protection, drone use, and digital twins, featuring two wave channels: a 40-meter-long, 1.5-meter-deep channel for large-scale wave impact tests and services, and a smaller channel for student research and experiments.

The pedagogical innovation department develops innovative teaching practices and virtual platforms.

BUILDERS EI has extensive experience in European project management, having led Interreg projects and collaborated on others. It also benefits from ERASMUS+ support for academic mobility, internships, and the prestigious ERASMUS MUNDUS COMEM+ master's program.
