I work in vegetation science and sustainable management of rivers, forests and other natural and semi-natural environments. I am interested in developing a project on Landstewardship in the participatory management of these environments: Landstewardship contracts represent a very effective and lasting system of management and have great dissemination and educational potential

Public Health and Environmental Health

The idea is to develop methods of conservative and associated management of natural and semi-natural environments through the development of contractual forms between owners, managers and research and/or nature protection bodies or associations. This leads to increasing collaboration networks on the territory, deepening knowledge on the functioning of natural and semi-natural environments and collectively seeking resources for their management. The development area in Italy for a possible Landstewardship project is mainly the north-west (regions of Piedmont, Valle d'Aosta, Liguria, Lombardy).
