Interested in designing and studying processes of social learning for transformations in human-nature relations in urban contexts. These transformations concern both inner dimensions of change, as well as sources of unsustainability within existing socio-ecological-technical systems.
Description of my expertise / skills • Labs and transformative learning spaces for sustainability - multi-stakeholder design, comparative and embedded research designs • Participatory, systemic, and futures-oriented process development - both methodological design, as well as process evaluations • Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary sustainability studies, focused on transitions and transformations • Co-creation approaches - workshops, value elicitation, principles-based inquiry, participatory systems mapping, data harvesting, design thinking around both problem and solution spaces • Futures methodologies - principles-based backcasting as social learning methodology

Comparative/joint urban experiments that attempt to learn and scale knowledge on human-nature transformations in cities and regions.
I am thematically open, but searching for a project that is case-based, has deep interdisciplinarity/transdisciplinarity at its centre, that links nature based solutions with deep levers for change and deep sources of unsustainability. My research interests can contribute with a grounded learning orientation, reflexive process development and experience with a variety of co-creation/futures methodologies. In addition, I can contribute with a Norwegian case where nature-based learning is at the centre.
