I am a behavioral ecologist and evolutionary biologist studying evolution, ecology and behavior, especially in birds. I combine observations and experiments in the field with molecular lab work. In recent years, my research was focised mainly on invasive species, using the Common Myna as a model species trying to understand the traits and mechanisms that contribute to successful invasiveness. I am also intersted in the conservation applications of invasive species and mitigating their effects on local biodiversity.
