Engagement in WP5 TREBID PROJECT: Management Scenarios (shared leadership)
In this WP, we will develop dynamic scenarios for the transformation of treeline ecotones, informed
by management strategies discussed with local stakeholders, including shepherds and park
administrations. These scenarios will assess the outcomes of various management approaches for
treeline areas in response to changing climatic and socioeconomic conditions. The simulations of the
projected changes will be optimized using regional and local-scale data from previous WPs.
Additionally, the scenarios will simulate the impacts on biodiversity and EU priority habitats.
