I am looking
for a partner (for my project)
My name is Ilhem OMRI. I'm a Doctor engineer in Bioengineering fields from National Institutes Of Applied Sciences and Technology of Tunisia (INSAT). In my current position, I work as a project manager at the university of Gabes. An enthusiastic Researcher with multidisciplinary background in Environmental Process, Biotechnology and Research fields. I got very good experience in designing and monitoring bioreactors for Fermentation and Microbial Cultures. I'm looking for new and exciting opportunities to pursue my passion and implement my knowledge and skills to use.

The majorities of studies have focused on the mobility of metallic trace elements in the mining sites but they did not highlight its effects on microbial diversity in these mining areas. Thus, the present project will contribute the outline the microbial biodiversity and symbiotic relationship and their applications in heavy metals removal from the mining environment. The findings provide new opportunities into phosphoric ore microbiology that could be useful in for the bioremediation of heavy metal contaminated sludge and wastewater.

This project fills a crucial knowledge gap in the current understanding of micobial diversity and potentially recovering microbes in mining sites.
