I am a leader of Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Genetics, which is equipped with the most modern equipment. We use the different methods for genetic and epigenetic evaluation of wild, introduced, invasive, and other fish populations, as well as wild amphibia and reptile populations, especially at area boundaries: for examples, a genetic diversity of populations based on microsatellites, a phylogenetic analysis based on sequencing of mitochondrial genes; as also can determine epigenetic variability based on the level of DNA methylation by pyrosequencing in wild plants and animals. Projects aimed at studying the genetics and epigenetics of adaptations and stress in both free-living populations and experimental studies in controlled laboratory conditions..To determine stress, we can offer antioxidant analysis, ROS, fluorescence of chlorophyll in plants and others methods.
