We are a research team with a wide range of knowledge from animal science. Our main expertise is:
- Pollinators: wild bees, ecology, conservation, ES - Soil zoology: nematodes, potworms, springtails - Soil ecotoxicology: heavy metals, pesticides, nanomaterials, microplastics vs. adsorbed pollutants - Regenerative agriculture, NBS: effects on biodiversity, soil health (soil animals, decomposition, pollinators, birds) - Plant protection: Plant-derived extracts in plant crop protection - Climate change and anthropogenic disturbances: effects on soil micro-, mesofauna and decomposition - Zoology: Study of bird communities from various aspects
We have an ongoing project: a complex assessment of the effects of a relatively novel livestock management method, regenerative grazing. It pursues innovative studies of the effects of this method on soil biological and ecological parameters. We use an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to include zoologists, botanists, experts in animal husbandry, microbiology, soil science, statistics, and a foreign partner to assist in science communication.

We would be happy to join any project related to sustainable agriculture and its impact on soil biology, pollinators, botany and other aspects, like animal health and productivity. By facilitating the transfer of good practices across regions, it is possible to initiate the transformation and development of local agricultural policies, which will support a more holistic approach to agriculture.
