I work as a Senior Biologist at Bolu Municipality, specializing in the identification, classification, and analysis of the biological activities of Bolu's endemic and rare plants. Project Description:

This project highlights Bolu's rich biodiversity, focusing on medicinal and endemic plants. Our goals are to:

Assess ecosystem services provided by these species, such as carbon sequestration, local climate regulation, and socio-economic benefits for communities.
Develop nature-based solutions to restore degraded ecosystems using local biodiversity.
Promote sustainable land use and biodiversity conservation by actively engaging with local stakeholders and communities.
Establish a botanical garden in partnership with Neuss Municipality, Germany, as part of Landesgartenschau Neuss 2026. This garden will serve as a center for education, conservation, and biodiversity promotion.
