I am preparing a comprehensive project in cooperation with Çay Municipality and District Governorship in order to protect Lake Eber, which is located in Çay district of Afyon province, which attracts attention with its rich biodiversity and hosts many bird species and endemic plants, and to reveal its sustainable tourism potential. This project aims to transfer the natural heritage of the lake to future generations by preserving the ecological balance of the region. At the same time, it aims to contribute to the economic development of the local community through the development of environmentally sensitive tourism activities that promote biodiversity. Activities such as ecotourism and bird watching planned around the lake address both environmental protection and economic benefits by using the natural richness of the region in a sustainable way.

Spatial planning and urban development

Our project aims to protect Lake Eber, located in Çay district of Afyon province, and to bring it to sustainable tourism. The lake is of great ecological importance with its rich biodiversity, many bird species and endemic plants. Within the scope of the project, environmentally friendly tourism activities such as ecotourism, bird watching, nature walks are planned, and the economic development of the local people is also aimed in this process. For the project, we are looking for partners who can offer knowledge and experience in the fields of environmental protection, biodiversity and sustainable tourism and who can support these themes. We expect partners to co-operate in providing scientific contributions, raising awareness, supporting training activities or developing infrastructure.

We would like to participate in a project on the themes of biodiversity conservation, sustainable tourism and ecotourism. In particular, activities for the conservation of natural areas and projects focussed on cooperation with local communities are areas where we can contribute with our existing knowledge and experience. We aim to take an active role in both scientific support and implementation stages of such projects.
