Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide is a cross-border Dutch/Flemish heathland nature reserve. The managing office has lead or participated in many European and interregional projects on the interface of biodiversity conservation and restoration with science, policy, practice and stakeholder involvement of rural communities.
We manage a network of volunteers working on systematic biodiversity monitoring specialized in many taxa. The park office coordinates its activities and management practices and communicates closely with regional government agencies, nature conservation organisations, municipal governments, private land owners and farmers.

We are looking to join a consortium (e.g. as subcontractee) to act as living lab/pilot site for projects focusing on land and water conservation, climate adaptation and ecohydrology, biodiversity development in rural areas, stakeholder involvement, agroecology or regenerative agriculture.
