Description of my expertise / skills I am interested in biodiversity conservation, and the study of species interactions. I have expertise in molecular ecology form the use of specific primers for the early detection of invasive species using DNA barcoding, to biodiversity inventory using DNA metabarcoding approaches. I am also developing new methods for the exploitation of environmental DNA. I use illumina and Nanopore sequencing.

I am looking for a project where biodiversity conservation and/or species interactions are investigated. I am interested in working on any animal model (vertebrate or invertebrate) and in any type of ecosystem (from agroecosystems to native forest). I am also interested in alternative farming methods such as agroforestry.
