My expertise and research areas of interest are soil microbial genome analysis, nitrogen and carbon cycle, and biodiversity. Soil microbial diversity determines soil health and the ecosystem services. However, just like the study of human intestinal microbiota, it takes time and cost to establish and map a regional soil microbial genome database. I am very much looking forward to having a project of the same type of research and discussing the feasibility with any partners.

The project aims to focus on metagenome analysis of soils (which may include agricultural land, forests, or sites representative of the region). Establishing the carbon and nitrogen cycle system provided by microorganisms in the soil, plant promotion functional gene analysis, drug resistance gene analysis, secondary metabolite analysis, etc. that can be used as ecosystem services for soil microorganisms in agricultural applications, medical applications, biodiversity surveys, etc.
