I am looking for a project to join
Etiology, epidemiology and control of diseases caused by phytopathogenic fungi on fruit and vegetables are investigated in our Fungal Plant Pathogen Unit. This unit is developing new diagnostic strategies; studies of pathogen variability; mechanisms of pathogenesis; identification of epidemiological factors; development of predictive models and biological formulations for their control and the study of their environmental effect on the ecosystem (Biodiversity); the study of the tritrophic agent interaction of biocontrol-host-pathogen through the use of omics tools and fluorescence and confocal microscopy; and the development of alternative methods (integration of natural substances - biocontrol agents) for the sustainable control of diseases

We are looking to join as partners in a project that needs to know the effect of phytosanitary treatments, both chemical and biological, on the microbiome of the crops to which they are applied. Our experience can provide knowledge on populations of plant pathogenic fungi, biocontrol agents and other non-target microorganisms. In terms of omics tools, we have experience in genomics and transcriptomics in microorganism-plant-soil interactions.
