We are eager to participate in a project dedicated to advancing animal health and promoting sustainable agriculture. Our primary objective is to minimize antimicrobial usage. We propose a multifaceted approach that includes:
1. Molecular Breeding of Genetically Resistant Animals: to enhance the genetic resilience (disease, stress) of livestock by employing molecular breeding techniques
2. Early and Accurate Diagnosis: developing and implementing advanced diagnostic methods, that can be effectively used also in field conditions
3. Research on the Microbiome: comprehensive research into how the microbiome affects the overall well-being and disease resistance of livestock
4. Development of Feed Additives: innovative feed additives designed to support and enhance a healthy microbiome, thereby improving digestion and nutrient absorption, and reducing reliance on antimicrobials
5. Pathogen Research: the pathogens that affect livestock, alongside their interactions with host animals and the environment.
