I am looking for a project to join
Part of BioAgora, a European Horizon project dedicated to establishing a biodiversity science-service for the European Commission.

Lead the Local Currency Network (LoCNet), a non-profit organization registered in France that aims to study and promote the development of a human and environmentally friendly economy through the use of local complementary currencies.

Local currencies could have the potential of:
(1) Facilitating a transition towards a sustainable economy that fits within planetary boundaries. This includes the development of a low-carbon and low-waste economy achieved by localizing supply chains, promoting sharing practices, fostering organic farming enhancing biodiversity, facilitating the repair of damaged goods, and promoting recycling.
(2) Strengthening the social system and local communities by reducing inequalities and promoting local heritage.
(3) Ensuring the resilience of the current economic system in times of crisis by providing an alternative solution.

LoCNet's strategy is as follows:
(1) Identify the potential of local currencies in driving societal shift towards sustainability
(2) If there is a potential, study the diversity of existing local currencies, identify their ecological, social and economic impact, as well as their recipe for success or cause of failure
(3) Help to scale up the local currency movement, by engaging with different stakeholders
