My lab studies how animals cope with changes in their environment, including changes related to human-induced stressors such as invasive alien species and global contaminants/pollutants. Our research focuses on the effects of such stressors on individual variation in animal behaviour, life history (including reproductive traits), and physiology, and their ecological and evolutionary consequences. Our research mainly uses fishes, insects, and marine crustanceans as model systems, but in recent years we have expanded our work and included other living organisms.
We would like to join a project that aims to study the effects of global pollutants and/or invasive alien species on wildlife, and are keen to share our expertice in behavioural ecology and ecotoxicology to achieve such goal.
