I am an animal ecophysiologist studying the adaptive strategies in animal species facing environmental changes. My research is cross-disciplinary, between natural and humanities sciences for an integrative approach in global ecology of continental hydrosystems. I focus on the effects of environmental management on animal behavioural ecology and population dynamics, in habitats (continental hydrosystems) and species (threatened e.g. turtles, amphibians; invasive e.g. turtles, crayfish) of conservation and management concerns. I am presently leading the Biodiversa-funded Emys-R project https://emysr.cnrs.fr/
Conservation Biology
project aiming at assessing/testing/implementing conservation based action-oriented research project, with a focus on wetlands and associated biodiversity
