We are experienced in remote sensing of cold, polar and mountain regions. snow, glaciers, shelf ice, supraglacial lakes, permafrost. We are providing operational services for daily global snow cover, calving fronts, and are capable of processing and analyzing remote sensing-based information about the development of snow cover since the 1980s. The data is most useful in analyzing the impact of climate change on animal habitats, animal movement patterns, tree line changes in mountains, vegetation changes, and many more. Our data can also be very relevant for hydrological studies involving snowmelt.
We'd like to join any project investing the impact of climate change on the vegetation or animal habitat in mountain regions around Europe, particularly the Alps, Pyrenees, Carpathians, but also Scandinavian Mountains. We can contribute our expertise in remote sensling relying on multispectral (Landsat, Sentinel-2, -3, MODIS, VIIRS, AVHRR) and SAR data.
