I am looking for a project to join
Although I consider myself a generalist ecologist, my recent research focuses on three major topics: conservation biogeography, global change, and the geopolitics of science. In conservation biogeography, I assess how conservation planning strategies designed to mitigate the impacts of global change are affected by biodiversity knowledge shortfalls and data biases. My experience in global change research involves using ecological niche modelling (ENM) and data science techniques to anticipating the impacts of climate and land use change, and ultimately guide conservation planning and decision-making. Lastly, in the geopolitics of science, I have been investigating the consequences of the divide between the Global North and South on biodiversity discovery and capacity building.
