I specialize in marine biodiversity, invertebrate systematics, and sustainable ocean governance. I am a intergrative taxonomist by training focusing on anatomical and DNA teqniques, my main area is marine invertebrates. Recent publications include a systematic revision of Indo-West Pacific bubble snails and studies on cold-water coral habitats. Currently, I work on projects focused on controlling invasive species, mapping coral habitats and utilizing residual marine resources.
