I am an interdisciplinary researcher with over 5 years of experience monitoring wetlands, particularly northern peatlands, using a range of remote sensing (RS) data and machine learning techniques. I excel in various RS-based terrestrial monitoring tasks, specifically in detecting spatial and temporal vegetation patterns. I have strong expertise in statistical analysis and programming in R and Python, along with proficiency in using Google Earth Engine and high-performance computing.
In the future, I aim to explore nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation. I plan to expand my research to study wetland ecosystems, such as their vegetation, landscape patterns on a national scale, focusing on carbon cycling, greenhouse gas emissions, and ecosystem restoration assessments. My goal is to develop global models to address climate change challenges, which can inform management policies aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2030-2050 and protecting biodiversity.
n the future, I aim to join a project focused on nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation. Specifically, I am interested in projects that study wetland ecosystems, analyzing vegetation and landscape patterns on a national scale with an emphasis on carbon cycling, greenhouse gas emissions, and ecosystem restoration. My goal is to contribute to the development of global models that address climate change challenges, with the potential to inform management policies aimed at achieving carbon neutrality by 2030-2050 and protecting biodiversity.
