I am biodiversity expert with a sound scientific background in tropical ecology and nature conservation. In 2003 I founded Agentur auf! Germany's first management consultancy with a focus on biodiversity. We work presently with companies from the finance, food, fashion, building and hospitality on biodiversity issues (double materiality, strategy). I'm very much intersted in science communication (published four books on biodiversity for the broader public and host my own science podcast). I have profound knowledge in applied biodiversity issues with my second company PERÚ PURO (www.perupuro.de/en) where we bring cocoa, chocolates, coffee (from biodiversity+ agroforestry systems) and Brazil nuts (from rainforest concessions) from smallhoders in Peru to the European market.
