Remote Sensing and spatial ecology, with a focus on utilizing advanced technologies such as LiDAR and optical data from drones, airborne platforms, and satellites to assess and monitor biodiversity in forest and agricultural ecosystems, as well as the impacts of environmental changes.
My expertise includes the development and application of remote sensing techniques to evaluate the structural and species diversity of ecosystems, analyze the effects of disturbances like windstorms, droughts, and disease outbreaks, and enhance forest and agricultural management strategies through spatial analysis.
I am looking to join a project where I can contribute by assessing different aspects of biodiversity or indicators of biodiversity from an ecosystem perspective using innovative remote sensing data (LiDAR and optical data from different vectors). I focus on integrating these data sources in order to provide also comprehensive insights into ecosystem health and resilience.
