The EUROPARC Federation is the largest network for Europe’s Protected Areas managing natural and cultural heritage. We work across all disciplines associated with Protected Areas , to improve their management in Europe through international cooperation, exchange of ideas and experience, and by influencing and implementing policy.

The EUROPARC Federation is dedicated to practical nature conservation and sustainable development of Europe’s biodiversity, mitigating climate change. restoring nature and fostering holistic landscape approaches in its management.

We have a extensive and comprehensive network and ability to bring expertise and learning from the field directly to the research world. We have particular expertise in stakeholder engagement and producing innovative and impactful science communications but can address multiple topics at the policy/practice interface.

We have extensive connections across the EU at commission and member state level as well as with the Council of Europe . We have a excellent capacity building academy with the skills to produce and deliver training and capacity building for both researchers and stakeholders.

We are adept at working trans nationally and across disciplines.

We are an excellent and useful partner to apply and embed research in the policy and practice of nature conservation, sustainable development , understanding and working with stakeholders, creative communication and the management practice of Protected Areas.
