NBSCLIMATE, we are a Spanish social enterprise that facilitates the design, evaluation, funding, scale-up, and continuous improvement of Nature-based Solutions (NBS) through the IUCN Global Standard for NBS, which professional certificate we hold, together with other related certificates on “Finance for Nature” by IUCN, and on “Decent Work through NBS” by ILO, UNEP and IUCN. Thus, we maximize the impact of NBS interventions on climate resilience, biodiversity, and inclusive socio-economic opportunities. Moreover, we bring the social innovation and green entrepreneurship perspective into the NBS space through our incubation program for NBS and Nature-based Enterprises (NBE), at Ribering, our coworking, coliving and event venue in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain.

- Communities for Climate (2024-25): EU initiative supporting 50 community-led climate action projects-
- EUROCLIMA+ NBS for climate action (2024): technical assistance to Panama’s Ministry of the Environment with the development of a guide of NBS for climate action.
- UIA NATUR-W (2024-27): Nature-based Urban Regeneration through Water - Integrating the water cycle in urban renaturing in Lorca (Spain) and follower EU cities.
- PRIMA NATMed (2023-25): EU-funded project through the PRIMA Program focused on NBS on existing infrastructure for resilient Water Management in the Mediterranean.
