We are looking to join a project focused on the valorization of lignocellulosic biomass, especially lignin. Our goal is to collaborate with partners specializing in different stages of the biomass valorization process, including polymer extraction, degradation product valorization (such as phenols and antioxidants), and/or the separation of these valuable compounds.

Our expertise lies in developing sustainable enzymatic and electrochemical methods to degrade lignin and convert it into valuable products. By working together with partners who focus on:
Polymer Extraction: enhance the efficiency and sustainability of lignin extraction processes, utilizing green solvents and enzymatic strategies that ensure high-quality raw materials for downstream applications.
Degradation Product Valorization: projects that seek to transform lignin degradation products into high-value compounds like phenols and antioxidants, which have significant applications in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and materials industries.
lignin degradation, enzymatic depolymerization, biomass valorization, green chemistry, bioelectrochemistry, polymer biochemistry, sustainable extraction, biocatalysis
