PhD in Rural Extension from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Master in Rural Extension from the Federal University of Viçosa. Agronomist from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Worked as a Technical Assistant in Rural Development for the United Nations World Food Program from 2022 to 2023. Member of the Study and Research Group on Food and Traditional Manifestations at the Federal University of Sergipe. Worked with the FAO/UN and the Center for Alternative Agriculture in Northern Minas Gerais (CAA/NM) to draw up a Strategic Action Plan aimed at improving food security conditions for traditional peoples and communities in the semi-arid region of Minas Gerais in the context of climate change. Has been working and researching ways of strengthening family farming and traditional peoples and communities since 2011, working with food security and memory, traditional foods, management and conservation of agrobiodiversity, the generational process, as well as knowledge and analysis of the process of constitution and transformation of socio-cultural identities in rural contexts, taking into account the territory, community actions, popular culture, artistic manifestations and rituals and relations with the environment.
