I am looking for a project to join
I work for National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). I lead the research group for hydro-meteorological disaster. Our current research focused on disaster risk resulting from land subsidence in coastal urban areas. In addition to seeing flood as hazards, we also observe coastal permanent inundation as opportunity in carbon sequestration. We already keep proposals on land subsidence, coastal retreat, and carbon sequestration in permanently inundated coastal area of Sayung District, Demak, Indonesia from inbound funding. I hope we can offer the theme for a join project under international funding scheme.

We use the approaches of system dynamics, spatial models, and socio-hydrology to solve the phenomenon. In terms of solution, we key in sustainability and nature based adaptation and mitigation that best suit in the area.

In terms of software use, we opt free/open source softwares or code using Python.
