The expertise of our research team at the field of chemical ecology includes sampling and identification of species-specific pheromones of insects, which can be applied to develop highly efficient monitoring tools in conservation and pest management.

And additional expertise of our research team includes recording and analysis of insect substrate-borne sounds (i.e., vibrations) in the laboratory and natural habitats (i.e., vibraoscape analysis) using laser vibrometry that can be applied for example for detection of insect pests in wood.

We are looking for a consortium where we could implement this knowledge into development of smart, multimodal sensors to be used in conservation and pest management
