I am looking
for a project to join
My expertise is in afforestation for the ecological reconstruction of degraded lands....so basically in applying Nature Based Solutions. We have 20 years worth of monitoring data from over 150 permanent plots located in drought affected regions of Romania where degraded lands were afforested, to offer valuable ecosystem services. There are many lessons to be learned regarding land use change (agriculture to forest) and how it affected biodiversity (e.g. using invasive alien species for afforestation) and the society (rural communities).
