Invasive species are one of the main causes of biodiversity loss on a global scale and a threat to the world economy. When we study these plants, three main questions arise: How do they invade, where do they come from, and what is the invasiveness of these species? From the Invasive Species Study Group we try to answer these questions in invasive plants in Argentina through molecular phylogeny anf phylogeography, also, population genetics.
