Modelling and predicting enteric methane emissions from ruminants. I have a great potential to evaluate South American seaweeds, Amazonian plants and mangrove microbes as feed additives to mitigate methane emissions from ruminants using in vitro and in vivo methods. I have ongoing projetcs improving the use of handheld NIRS to predict methane emissions and digestiblity in ruminants. I would like to support relevant projects that can promote cleaner ruminant production. I almost wrote projects to evaluate natural additives for ruminants. I am also implementing an in vitro laboratory to evaluate ruminant diets. A focus on tropical systems is preferable.
